Amazon Raises Minimum Wage to $15 for All U.S. Employees

Dear Amazon Employees,

We are pleased to announce that Amazon will be raising its minimum wage to $15 per hour for all employees in the United States, effective January 1, 2021. This increase applies to all full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees.

In addition, Amazon will begin accruing paid personal time (PPT) for all employees on the last day of their first pay period. PPT can be used for a variety of purposes, including vacation, sick leave, and personal appointments. Employees will accrue one hour of PPT per every 30 hours worked.
